The Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club will be holding their 12th Annual Golf Tournament for charity at Beachview Golf Club.

The event will be held on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 and will begin at 8.30 a.m. Golfers are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes prior for registration and to enjoy coffee and muffins before the tournament.

The format is a four-person team handicap scramble. Mixed foursomes are welcome. The cost per golfer is $95, which includes green fees and a delicious lunch at the Beachview Steakhouse.

In addition to great prizes for golf such as $5,000 for a hole-in-one, there will be many raffle prizes donated by local restaurants and businesses. If you would like to play but don’t have a full team of four, we will arrange a team for you.

All money raised at the event goes toward approved San-Cap Lions charitable causes, such as preventing blindness, educational scholarships and helping people in need. All are encouraged to join us.
