The Lee County Department of Transportation (DOT) has notified the City of Sanibel that the State of Florida is conducting inspections on the Sanibel Causeway bridges, which will impair traffic flow.

At this time, we have not received notification as to when the inspections will be completed.

Motorists are advised to be alert for lane closures on the Sanibel Causeway and should expect delays. Please plan your travel accordingly.
