Fort Myers Boat Show returns this weekend
The Southwest Florida Marine Industries Association is proud to present the 37th Annual Fort Myers Boat Show.
This year’s show opens on Thursday, Nov. 12 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 15 at the Harborside Convention Center and Fort Myers City Yacht Basin. The Fort Myer’s Boat Show is the leading show on Florida’s West Coast.
This year will feature something for everyone. Hundreds of boats on display in water and on land, a convention center of electronics and gadgets, motors, fishing equipment, marine insurance and financing companies, education information, service companies, marinas, jewelry, gifts for those who live the boating lifestyle and more.
The cost for the Boat Show is $7 per person and children under 12 are free. The Boat Show will open on Thursday at 10 a.m. and run to 6 p.m. Show hours Friday and Saturday are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Be sure to visit the Boat Show and experience what the marine industry has to offer including the “Boating Lifestyle Area.” The “Boating Lifestyle Area” includes stand up paddleboard demos on Saturday and Sunday, fishing and kayak seminars, scuba dive displays, the U.S. Coast Guard simulator for children to experience what it’s like to be in a boat in rough seas and more. The area will also include the SWFMIA trailer with giveaways and information.
Parking is conveniently located at the City of Palms Park (Red Sox Stadium), located at 2201 Edison Avenue. Parking is only $4 all day and includes continuous air conditioned bus transportation to and from the show.
