Celebrity bartending at Ellington’s to benefit CROW

By Staff | Nov 4, 2009

On Thursday, Nov. 12 from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Ellington’s Jazz Bar and Restaurant on Periwinkle will play host to Island Celebrity Bartenders, with proceeds benefiting CROW (The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc.).

Ellington’s owners Jillan Algrin and Sharon Wise are happy to help out and have created a “special” drink for the evening, with 50 percent of the proceeds given to CROW. Drinks will be half off, with 15 percent of sales being donated to CROW.

Dinner specials for the evening include your choice of house soup or salad along with one of the following entre selections:

Scallops with mashed potatoes and asparagus

Pork Shank with mashed potatoes and braised cabbage

House-made Pasta Brubeck with fresh seasoned vegetables.

Chocolate Lava Cake will be offered for dessert, all for $19.95 (plus tax) per person. Reservations are requested and may be made by calling 472-0494.

Tip jars for donations, all going to CROW, will be available while a raffle for a $100 gift certificate to Ellington’s is being featured.

Please join us at Ellington’s to support CROW. For additional information, contact the CROW Development Office at 472-3644 ext. 2.
