Wines in the Wild at SCCF returning in November

By Staff | Oct 21, 2009

Mark your calendars for Wines in the Wild, a wine tasting celebrating our good nature. This benefit fundraiser for the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14.

The evening of food and wine tasting will be held at the SCCF Nature Center, located at 3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road, from 6 to 8 p.m. The cost to attend the gala is $75 per person.

Local wine aficionado Tom Uhler is helping to coordinate the event.

“Wines are the most natural of foods, so it’s appropriate that SCCF benefit from a wine tasting,” said Uhler. “I’ve selected a variety of fine wines from boutique properties. Each will have a connection to flora or fauna. Enjoy a fun evening while supporting SCCF programs.”

Reservations are available by calling SCCF at 472-2329.
