Now through the holidays, American Legion Post 123 is collecting non-perishable food items along with pet food for a food drive. All donations will go to F.I.S.H. here on Sanibel.

Also, bring in any unwanted manufacturer’s coupons to help support our troops overseas. These coupons are good for six months after the expiration date overseas.

Islanders are reminded to stop in and check out our menu. On Fridays, we serve steak all day.

Next Sunday, Oct. 25, come in for a BBQ ribs and chicken dinner from 2 to 8 p.m.

We serve food all day, every day. The public is welcome to join us. Post 123 is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
