Police looking for silver Nissan Pathfinder in fatal hit-and-run
The vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run Saturday has been identified is a silver 1999 Nissan Pathfinder LE model, police said Monday.
The vehicle has damage to the left front bumper, left headlight, left hood and damage to the left wheel well, according to a prepared statement issued by the Fort Myers Police Department.
The accident occurred at 1:39 a.m. as Martin Pastor-Yat, 27, was crossing Palm Beach Boulevard at Desoto Avenue. He was struck in the westbound lanes. According to witnesses, the vehicle involved in the crash continued westbound, then made a quick u-turn and fled eastbound on Palm Beach passing the scene of the accident at a high rate of speed.
