American and State flags will be flown at half-staff on Sunday, Oct. 4 in honor of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.

Flags across the United States, as well as at Sanibel’s municipal facilities, will be lowered to half-staff in remembrance of the firefighters who lost their lives while rendering services to emergency calls throughout our nation’s history.
