By Staff | Oct 1, 2009

A domestic incident involving a weapon that resulted in the lockdown of a Fort Myers Elementary School has been resolved without incident.
Fort Myers police responded to the Green Tee Apartments at 1830 Maravilla Avenue #804 at 9:54 this morning in reference to a breach of peace.
Police were told that Victor Rosado, 36, had pushed his girlfriend and pointed a gun at three children and another adult male. Everyone fled the apartment unharmed but Rosado went to apartment #809 and shut the door, officials said.
Police set up a perimeter and secured Allen Park Elementary School.
After about an hour Rosado surrendered to police without incident.
Police arrested Rosado, charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police are currently continuing the investigation because of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in plain view in apartment #804, officials said.
Three children ages 3, 7 and 10, have been placed in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.
