Susan E. Gordon joined Pfeifer Realty Group as a Realtor and Sanibel-Captiva Island Specialist (SCIS) bringing with her an extensive background in business, management and clinical social work.

Gordon earned a bachelor’s degree in human development from Ottawa University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas. Gordon founded the ADD/ADHD Education and Resource Association. She worked as a therapist with a preparatory school and managed her own private practice in clinical social work and family therapy. Gordon became the first female to specialize in commercial and industrial business liquidations as an auctioneer in her family’s Chicago business.

Gordon’s love of the islands keeps her active in the community, focusing on efforts which preserve the wildlife and natural beauty of the area. She supports the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) and the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF). She is also an accomplished wildlife photographer.
