GreenMarket still growing at the Alliance

By Staff | Sep 29, 2009

The GreenMarket, open Saturday mornings 8 a.m. – noon at the Alliance for the Arts is still expanding with new vendors joining weekly. The market not only offers locally grown, caught and cultivated foods but now includes so much more.
New vendors to GreenMarket include: Back to Basiks – spices and seasonings, Gina D’s Specialty Seeds and Veggies – organic produce and ground grains, Route 80 Restaurant – homemade jams and soups and Crossroads Espresso – fresh roasted coffee beans and fruit smoothies.
French Bread Oven returns again with everybody’s favorite apricot Brioche and a wide variety of artisanal bread. Arctic Body and Bath is also back with all natural aroma therapy oils, soaps, and Dead Sea salts. And bringing their live potted plants, tropical plants, trees, shrubs, palms and native plants is The Garden of Eve.
Join the motion to support local business in your neighborhood! There is something for everybody at GreenMarket. From chutney and tie dye apparel to live music, the Alliance for the Arts is where the community comes together on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. – noon.
GreenMarket is every Saturday morning on the corner of Colonial and McGregor, in between the Alliance main building and Edwards Building. For a more information and complete list of vendors visit www.ArtInLee.org, call (239) 939-2787 or email GreenMarket@ArtInLee.org
