Ashton joins Royal Shell Preferred Properties
Last week, Royal Shell Preferred Properties proudly announced the addition of Sarah Ashton to its team of top island real estate professionals.
Sarah and her husband, Jim Metzler, have been Sanibel Island residents since 2001, having moved here from Boston, Mass. Sarah has always had a passion for real estate. Having owned, built and invested in real estate, she has perspective on the value of real property over time. While working with buyers and sellers of island real estate, she brings this passion and in-depth knowledge of the islands together.
“Her clients love her. Her enthusiasm and intellect make her an ideal Realtor for Sanibel and Captiva Island properties,” said Don DeLuca, broker for Royal Shell Preferred Properties.
Prior to becoming a Realtor in 2003, Sarah worked in financial services with E.F. Hutton, Shearson Lehman Brothers, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. and Fidelity Investments. Since moving here, she has been an active member of the community and has served as the President of the San-Cap Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association and has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce, where she is still an active board member. She is currently the Chair of the Sanibel Alliance for Renewable Resources (SARR), which works to educate and promote residents in the conservation of energy and water.
Her real estate accomplishments include having received her Sanibel & Captiva Islands specialist designation and her National Association of Realtors Green designation.
Sarah received a BA in Economics from Drew University and her MBA from Northeastern University.
