Sept. 11 remembrance set for Friday

A Day of Remembrance marking the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, will take place at Rumrunners at Cape Harbour Friday.
Organizers invite the public to share a morning of remembrance for those lost on Sept. 11 2001.
Presenters will include Cape Coral Police Chief Rob Petrovich, Fire Chief Bill Van Helden, Sharee Thieleman, retired American Airline flight attendant, City Manager Terry Stewart, The Cape Coral Police Department Color Guard and many more.
The event will be held at 8:30 a.m.
The event will honor the fallen crew members of American Airlines Flight 11; United Airlines Flight 175; American Airlines Flight 77 and United Airlines Flight 93 as well as honor the fallen heroes of the FDNY; NYPD; New York Port Authority Police; private EMTs and paramedics; military personnel and civilians of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
