The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit conducted a drivers license and registration checkpoint on Glenwood Avenue Friday. One hundred and ten vehicles passed through the checkpoint during the two hour operation and seven drivers were arrested for driving without a license.
In addition, nine traffic citations and nine written warnings were issed.
