Professional Bullriding Challenger Tour stampedes into Estero this weekend

By Staff | Jul 29, 2009

Cat Country 107.1 presents the toughest sport and the rankest bulls in the professional bull riding arena: The Professional Bull Riding Challenger Tour.

The PBR’s Copenhagen Bull Riding Challenger Tour, coming to Germain Arena is Estero this Friday and Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 1, is high action, heart racing, competitive bull riders clinging to the tops of rank 1,800 lb. mountain of muscle bucking bulls for eight seconds of glory.

Comparable to baseball’s minor league, the Challenger Tour offers up and coming bull riders the opportunity to compete in PBR sanctioned events while earning money to qualify them for the elite Built Ford Tough Series, the cream of the crop of the PBR.

Join Cat Country as Professional Bull Riders Kody Lostroh, Dustin Elliott and Sean Willingham take on some of the bulls named Lucky Strike, Black Pearl and Apache Leap. Bull Riding is the country’s second largest spectator sport, leading the way in “family friendly” community entertainment events. Bull riding fans enjoy the heart pumping, adrenaline racing through the arena with the most daring cowboys who go head to head in the ultimate battle of man vs. beast.

After the bull riding, join us for an official PBR “after-party” at Shoeless Joe’s, located in The Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Bell Tower Shops (US 41 and Bell Tower Drive in Fort Myers). Country music sensation Lee Brice will be performing live in concert, headlining the after-party. Be sure to catch your favorite cowboys for autographs and photo opportunities. All PBR tickets holders receive a reduced admission of $5 (just show your ticket) or $10 at the door for non-PBR ticket holders.

Tickets are available at Germain Arena, through Ticketmaster.com or visit www.pbrnow.com for complete PBR series information.
