How about the air?
To the editor,
Most of Sanibel’s shopping centers and retail locations have inviting outdoor amenities. Gardens, chairs and benches with shaded tables, drinking fountains, birds, and tropical fruit trees invite shoppers and visitors to relax for a spell and “breath it all in.”
That would be lovely if it weren’t for the inevitable “on-break” employee puffing away within coughing distance. (Maybe it’s a purposeful plan. I always hold my breath until I can make it into one of the smoke-free stores). With all of the energy and effort expanded to purify the water, how about the air?
To all employers: get rid of the addicts! I know there are many more annoyed customers.
