Knapp named to Dean’s List at Saint Michael’s
Andrew H. Knapp, son of James and Deborah Knapp of Sanibel, was recently named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2009 semester at Saint Michael’s College.
Knapp, a Senior Business Administration major at the liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in the Burlington area of Vermont, graduated from Wellesley High School before coming to Saint Michael’s.
Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the Dean’s List.
In recent years, Saint Michael’s students and professors have received Rhodes, Woodrow Wilson, Guggenheim, Fulbright, National Science Foundation and other grants, and Saint Michael’s professors have been named Vermont Professor of the Year in four of the last eight years. The college is currently listed as one of the nation’s Best Liberal Arts Colleges in the 2009 U.S. News & World Report rankings.
