Cape Harbour will hold its annual “Water and Wheels” event Friday, Feb. 27, through Sunday, March 1, at The Marina at Cape Harbour daily.
Showcasing a display of rare and custom boats, classic and sports cars and motorcycles, the exciting event is free and open to the public.
This extensive on-water and land display of boats and cars sets the stage for an action-packed family fun weekend event. There are galleries galore to explore, boat tours by Banana Bay Tour Company and shopping at the specialty shops and boutiques along Cape Harbour’s Promenade. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment and a world-class exhibition and competition regatta by the Cape Coral Rowing Club on Saturday.
“This is a guaranteed fun, family event,” said Realmark President Will Stout in a prepared statement. “There will be an extraordinary collection of boats and cars to please everyone, with lots of activities to enjoy. We’re really looking forward to sharing it with the community.”
Rumrunners, The Joint and Run Agrounds will be offering an array of gourmet food and drink specials throughout the weekend and Pignoli’s will be heating up its outdoor grill for its famous “Thrill of the Grill.”
In addition to the boat show and car show, guests will enjoy other activities that include live entertainment on Expo Island Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. as well as on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. and all day Sunday.
Bands will include Cat Man Doodz, local favorite rock band Soapy Tuna and more. The Cape Coral Rowing Club will hold its second annual Realmark Corporate Rowing Challenge at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Adding to the excitement of this year’s show, the South Florida Masons for Children’s Charities will be raffling a pair of jet skis. For more information, check out their website at www.SFMCC.COM.
