SCC to host annual Super Bowl Pre-Game Bash

By Staff | Jan 15, 2009

On Sunday, Feb. 1, Sanibel Community Church and their Student Ministries members are hosting a Super Bowl Pre-Game Bash at The Sanibel School fields.

This special annual event goes from 3:30 to 6 p.m. and involves a Punt, Pass and Kick competition, two-hand touch football game, plus tailgating with hot dogs and drinks. This event is free and is open to families of all ages.

“There is nothing like a little fun and exercise before the big game,” explained Tom Walsh, Youth Pastor at SCC. “Last year was a lot of fun. We hope to see a lot of families join us again this year.”

If you are or have a student in sixth through 12th grades and would like more information about the Sanibel Community Church Student Ministries, contact Youth Pastor Tom Walsh. Grades 6-8 meet every Wednesday in the newly-renovated Youth Center from 5 to 7 p.m. High School teens meet every Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
