David G. Thompson
David Thompson, a long-time resident of Sanibel and Fort Myers, passed away on Dec. 13. He was 63.
Preceded in death by his parents, Helen and William Thompson, of LIma, Ohio, he is survived by Trudie Prevatt — his long-time companion, soul mate and best friend; by his sons — Jeffery, of Moraga, Calif. and his wife Cris, and Justin of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and his wife Heidi; and six grandchildren.
Thompson was a graduate of Case-Western Reserve University, Lehigh University and Georgetown School of Law. He was a patent attorney and, for many years, was a successful real estate developer on Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach.
Services will be private. Donations in his honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
