Shells, shells, shells: Craft lessons offered weekly at The Community House

A Shell Crafting Class is held on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Community on Sanibel.

Hosted by the Shell Crafters, participants can learn to make flower figures and animals.

The classes are open to adults and children; however, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Class sizes are limited to first come, first served starting at 10 a.m. sharp.

The community is invited to stop by and admire the work or shop.

Called the "best kept secret" on the islands, new pieces are made fresh each week.
