By Staff | Mar 14, 2014

The Southwest Florida community is invited to help support construction of a new Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida by attending the annual “Boston Red Sox Children’s Hospital Diamond Dinner” on Wednesday, March 26 beginning at 6 p.m. (two hours after conclusion of the baseball game) at JetBlue Park located at 11500 Fenway South Drive in Fort Myers.

The special evening includes a delicious dinner provided by Outback Steakhouse of Fort Myers, autograph session with Boston Red Sox players and a silent auction full of memorabilia, trips and treasures. Special Guest Host 2004 World Champion pitching hero Derek Lowe will also be on hand for autographs and photo opportunities.

Proceeds will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a long-time benefactor and will support construction of a new 128-bed lifesaving pediatric health care facility on the campus of HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers.

General admission tickets are $75 per person and $35 for children under 10 years of age. General admission tickets do not include tickets to the baseball game. For a $150 donation, guests can upgrade to “VIP” admission and receive special baseball game tickets and admittance to the post-game reception on the Green Monster taking place prior to the dinner and auction. Special general admission and VIP table pricing for eight guests per table is available. Corporate sponsorships are also available.
