Physical Therapy drives food to FISH

For the entire month of April, Physical Therapy of Sanibel ran a food drive for F.I.S.H. of Sanibel. The effort's success will help restock the FISH Food Pantry after another very busy season.

Last year FISH distributed 74,500 pounds of food to 223 families and the need increases during the off-season as service workers lose work hours. Islanders were asked to bring unopened, non-perishable food items, paper products and personal hygiene products to Physical Therapy of Sanibel's clinic.

"The team at Physical Therapy of Sanibel has been a wonderful supporter of FISH, organizing their second food drive for our organization," said Dr. Adair Heath, a FISH director and food drive chair. "We would like to thank them for taking the time and making the effort to aid our organization in helping those in need on the islands."
