Traffic patterns at the Cape Coral Bridge toll plaza will be changing next week due to continuing construction to the plaza.
To shift the traffic patterns, westbound and eastbound lanes must be closed overnight on May 14. The new travel pattern for westbound lanes takes effect when lanes are reopened at 7 a.m. May 15.
Beginning at 8:30 p.m. on May 14 until 7 a.m., May 15 westbound lanes to the bridge will be closed to traffic while crews place barrier walls for a new traffic pattern at the plaza.

From 10 p.m. through 1 a.m. on May 14 the eastbound lanes at the plaza will be closed while crews remove an overhead sign structure.
At 7 a.m. on May 15 a LeeWay/SunPass lane will be available on the far right (north) side of the toll plaza adjacent to the administration building in Lane 1 and a manned booth provided in Lane 2 to serve westbound motorists entering from McGregor Boulevard. A LeeWay/SunPass lane also will be available on the far left (south) side of the plaza in Lane 8, adjacent to a manned booth provided in Lane 7 to serve westbound motorists continuing from College Parkway.
