Beachview Men's Golf Association played its last two rounds of the season last week.

On April 24, the two-best-ball-net winners were Admiral Roger Thiftshauser, Dick Waterhouse, Bill Stell and Bill Sartoris with a score of 112. Taking second place with a score of 115 was the foursome of Mike Zembko, Jim Mulka, Roger Cogswell and Rene Lohser.

On April 28, BMGA finished a variable better ball format event. Seven threesomes participated in the last event and Bill Stell's group won again with Ralph Barton, who carries two drivers and putted extremely well, and Fred "Too Tall" Zimmer, who walks the course and hits monster drives. Their final winning score was 101.

Beachview Men's Golf Association played its final rounds last week, but all are looking forward to starting up again in November.

Two groups tied for second with scores of 105 and a scorecard playoff awarded second place to Jim Sauer, Rich Rompala and Jack Tukey. Third place went to Jerry Mader, David Smith and Dick Chocol.

It was a great year and almost every member won something during the season. We look forward to doing it all over again starting in November.
