Enjoy a beach walk with The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum volunteer Dotty DeVasure to help burn off some of those Thanksgiving calories. Participants meet at Gulfside City Park/Algiers Beach on Sanibel at 9 a.m. Nov. 29 for the walk, as DeVasure gives tips on finding and identifying mollusks, as well as explain how they live, eat and move. During the one-hour walk, DeVasure will answer questions and help participants identify shells. The program is free, but parking fees apply. Call Diane Thomas at the museum, 395-2233, for more information.
