To the editor,
On behalf of CROW's Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and especially on behalf of our patients, I would like to thank the companies of Royal Shell (Royal Shell Vacations, Royal Shell Preferred Properties and Royal Shell Property Management) for their generosity.
Their sponsorship of the official debut for "Visions of Beauty: Fort Myers, Sanibel & Beyond," the newest in a series of art books by Alan S. Maltz, official wildlife photographer of Florida, was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to understand and appreciate our remarkable wildlife through the lens of a true talent.
We would also like to thank Alan for his generosity in donating so many unique and beautiful pieces of his work that were sold at auction, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to CROW. We look forward to working with Alan again in the future in joint pursuit of his passion for wildlife and our mission to save their lives through care and education.
Thank you as well to everyone at R.L.R. Investments, Ellington's, the Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce and everyone who attended the event. All of us at CROW are deeply honored and extremely proud to be part of such a caring community.
