The annual Hallo'Tween Bash is returning to 'Tween Waters Inn on Saturday, Oct. 31 with a "Voodoo Island" theme, costume contests, cash prizes and music by island favorites, The Modulators.
This macabre masquerade, famous for attracting hundreds of party-goers from all over the state of Florida, officially starts at 8 p.m. and will go until 2 a.m. - or perhaps until you drop dead.
As long as you're 21 or over, tickets will be available at the door for $15. You'll be greeted by hundreds of costumed revelers getting down to the sounds of Captiva favorites, The Modulators, a high-energy band that plays party favorites and originals, ranging from rock'n'roll to blues and reggae.
Gary Scarlle of Cape Coral won top honors last year for the scariest costume at the annual ‘Tween Waters Inn Halloween party.
And as always, attending this sinister soiree isn't just for fun - 'Tween Waters Inn will also offer a $1,000 costume contest to take place at midnight. Categories include best costume, scariest costume and most original costume.
Last year, out of more than 800 attendees, the overall first place winners of the Hallo'Tween Bash costume contest and $500 was a Flintstones ensemble, including Barney Rubble and Fred Flintstone, in addition to the Flintstone's car, featuring the Great Gazoo.
Second place and $300 went to a man dressed up as a devilish slot machine who called himself "The Devil's Jackpot." Third place and $200 went to someone who dressed up as a raccoon in a trash can, complete with artificially overflowing garbage.
